Unused products

Except for custom items, you may return any unused product for a full refund of your purchase price. However, we do not refund the original shipping charges or return shipping charges on non-defective items. To return a product, contact DesignMod at [email protected] to obtain a Return Authorization Number. The product must be in its original packaging and in a saleable condition. Custom products, specialty items and items with non-standard finishing cannot be returned unless defective.

Defective products

DesignMod will replace any defective products at no cost for ninety (90) days from the purchase date. See the DesignMod warranty above for more details. To return a defective product, contact DesignMod to obtain a Return Authorization Number. DesignMod will replace the defective product and credit the return shipping charge.
Installed products:
Products must be inspected prior to installation. Installation of the product constitutes acceptance of the product, and damages occurring during installation are not considered defects.

Warranty

DesignMod Products LLC warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship for ninety (90) days. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, damages due to negligence, faulty installation, improper alterations and repairs, improper cleaning and care, or damages due to uses of the product other than its intended and normal use. If a defect is found under normal use, while under warranty, DesignMod will replace the product at its own expense (including shipping charges but excluding installation charges). Under no circumstances is DesignMod responsible for installation/service fees or any dollar amount beyond the cost of the item. All warranties are non-transferable except if purchased by a professional installer, in which case the warranty transfers to the property owner. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claim.

Under no circumstances will DesignMod be held liable for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages or losses (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of business, loss of profits, etc.), damages to property other than the DesignMod product, for breach of contract, tort (including negligence), product liability or otherwise, even if it has been advised of the possibility of such damages. DesignMod’s liability on any claim (including negligence) will not in any case exceed the contract price paid by the original purchaser for the product claimed defective or unsuitable. It is the responsibility of the property owner to ensure that all installed products comply with all local laws, regulations and codes.
