Drywall: The Smoothline® flange is installed during drywall finishing to create a recess for the outlet or switch.
Wood: A router template is used to create a recess in the wood surface for the Smoothline® flange, allowing the switch plate to be flush with the wall. Installation involves setting the junction box, attaching and finishing the flange, and installing the device and wall plate. Detailed instructions are available on our website. For drywall installations, standard junction boxes are used, with the face of the box set appropriately to accommodate the thickness of the drywall. This design ensures compatibility with common electrical components, simplifying the installation process.
